Employee timesheets can be populated directly from a remote Time Clock (e.g. GPS or Biometric Facial Recognition). To access this feature, it will need to be enabled within your Company Settings. Please contact your Rosterit Administrator if you need assistance.
Follow the steps below to learn how to clock in and out of your shifts via Rosterit’s GPS Time Clock.
Clock in/out of Shift via GPS Time Clock
Rosterit’s GPS-based Time Clock allows staff to clock in to their work site easily via a centralised platform or their own mobile device based on proximity to their work location. This is based on the company’s unique network service in addition to the GPS on the employee’s mobile device.
Rosterit’s GPS Time Clock uses the location service to determine if you are at the set location that you are intended to work.
To clock in and out of work via the GPS Time Clock, simply follow the steps below:
- You will first need to allow Rosterit to access their Location in their device settings. This can be done by following these instructions.
- Next, select Time & Attendance from the side menu bar and click GPS Time Clock. You can also access the GPS Time Clock by clicking on this link directly, which can be accessed from the Rosterit website.
- Once this is done, wait for the map to load. You will know when the map has loaded when the words “please allow location access” disappear.
- Once the map has loaded, simply click on the Clock in/out button to clock in or out of your shift.
