Update your Company Settings - Start by entering some basic information about your company on the Company Settings page, including updating your company's pay period and assigning pay periods to employees, as this is a required first step if using the Time & Attendance features.
Populate roles and skills - Next, navigate to the Roles & Skills page to enter all of the roles and skills that may be required for each shift.
Add locations & departments - The next step will be to add all relevant company locations and departments that will be using Rosterit by going to the Locations & Departments page. This may include company branches, event venues, or job sites.
Populate your employees - Next, visit the Employees page to enter the details of all employees who will be using Rosterit. I've entered a few of your employees based on the details provided, however please update their contact details - keeping in mind that entering their email address will invite them to Rosterit if you have your Communications Settings turned on. If you would like to upload your employee details in bulk, just click the Download button located on the Employees page, fill out the additional information in the fields within the spreadsheet, and re-upload that same .CSV file. You must fill out all required fields correctly for the file to upload. You can visit our Help Centre guide if you get stuck.
Create your first shift - To create shifts, select Create New Base Shift from the side menu bar and click on the Guided Walkthrough button to follow the instructions provided.
Complete the Rosterit training modules - We recommend visiting our Help Centre and accessing the training modules to get started. Here you will also find answers to commonly asked questions in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section.
Invite your team! - Once you feel confident with using the system, you'll then be ready to start inviting your team! To do this, simply toggle the Communications settings to ON and contact Rosterit to invite your employees. You can also choose a select group to test to begin with before inviting the wider team.
Train your team - Once your team has been invited, you'll want to send them through the Employee Training Modules for them to complete to familiarise themselves with Rosterit. You can access these here .
Assign a Company Administrator - All Rosterit accounts must have at least one Rosterit Administrator. This will be the main person who will oversee the Roster and support staff with any issues they may be having - including resetting passwords, general questions about shifts, etc.
